CS International Co., Ltd. (“CSI”) is engaged in the cutting, processing, trading, and international distribution of coloured gemstones, including but not limited to rubies, sapphires, emeralds, tsavorites, spessartites, and other coloured stones. CSI is a non-mining member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).

This report is prepared to fulfil the annual reporting requirements of the RJC Code of Practices (COP) 2019, specifically COP 3, COP 6, COP 7, and COP 27, and reflects CSI’s practices and performance during the 2025 reporting period.

COP 3 – Responsible Business Practices

Issues

During 2025, CSI identified the following material issues relevant to responsible business practices through internal reviews and management oversight:

  • Ethical business conduct and integrity
  • Responsible sourcing of coloured gemstones
  • Respect for human rights
  • Occupational health and safety
  • Environmental responsibility
  • Transparency and accountability in operations

These issues are considered material to CSI’s business and relevant to key stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, customers, and business partners.

Community Engagement and Social Contribution

In 2025, CSI actively contributed to the community through documented charitable and social support activities. These included monetary donations to educational and cultural institutions in Thailand, reflecting CSI’s commitment to social responsibility and positive community impact beyond its commercial activities.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Based on internal assessment, CSI identified the following SDGs as most relevant to its operations:

  • SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth : Ensured through fair employment practices, safe working conditions, and skills development.
  • SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production : Addressed through responsible sourcing, waste management, and operational efficiency.
  • SDG 13 – Climate Action :Supported through renewable energy use and energy-efficiency measures.

Actions and Outcomes

CSI has established and implemented policies addressing ethical conduct, anti-bribery and corruption, responsible sourcing, human rights, and whistleblowing. These policies are communicated internally and to relevant external stakeholders.

Actions taken in 2025 included staff training, management reviews, supplier engagement, and operational controls. As a result, CSI observed strengthened compliance awareness, improved operational discipline, and enhanced stakeholder trust.

No material breaches of CSI’s responsible business policies were identified during the reporting period.

Human Rights and Due Diligence (COP 6 & COP 7)

Company Management Systems

CSI maintains management systems to support respect for human rights and supply-chain due diligence in accordance with the RJC COP and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance.

Key policies in place include:

  • Human Rights Policy
  • Responsible Sourcing Policy
  • Supplier Code of Conduct
  • Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy
  • Whistleblowing and Grievance Mechanism

Senior management retains oversight of human rights and supply-chain due diligence, with defined responsibilities assigned to relevant management personnel.

Supply Chain Controls and Transparency

CSI maintains systems of control and transparency over its coloured gemstone supply chain, including:

  • Identification and assessment of first-tier suppliers
  • Collection of country-of-origin information where applicable
  • Supplier declarations and documentation review
  • Record-keeping of sourcing and transaction data

These measures support CSI’s ability to identify, assess, and mitigate supply-chain risks.

Employee Training and Capacity Building

During 2025, CSI conducted multiple documented employee training programs, including:

  • Fire Evacuation Training – August 21, 2025
  • Human Rights Awareness Training – September 18, 2025
  • Occupational Safety and Chemical Handling Training – November 17–18, 2025

Training sessions were supported by attendance records, photographs, and completion certificates. These programs enhanced employee awareness of human rights, workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and company policies.

Grievance Mechanism

CSI maintains grievance mechanisms accessible to both internal and external stakeholders. Employees may raise concerns through internal reporting channels, while suppliers and external parties may raise concerns through direct communication with management.

No grievances related to human rights or supply-chain due diligence were received during the 2025 reporting period.

Identified and Assessed Risks

Through internal reviews and supplier assessments conducted in 2025:

  • No material human rights risks were identified within CSI’s own operations.
  • No material human rights or supply-chain due diligence incidents were identified within CSI’s supply chain.

Risk Management and Strategy

Findings from risk assessments are reported to senior management. While no material risks were identified in 2025, CSI maintains procedures to ensure timely identification and mitigation should risks arise in the future.

Communication and Training

CSI communicates its human rights and due diligence efforts internally through training and meetings, and externally through direct engagement with suppliers and business partners.

Use of Natural Resources (COP 27)

Business Practices and Material Issues

CSI identified electricity, water, and paper usage as relevant natural resource considerations. As a coloured gemstone cutting and trading company, CSI does not engage in heavy industrial or chemical-intensive processes.

Renewable Energy and Environmental Performance

In 2025, CSI operated solar energy panels with a generation capacity of approximately 100 kW, sufficient to supply all factory equipment, as total electricity consumption is below 75 kW.

As a result of utilizing solar energy in daily operations, CSI achieved an average carbon emission reduction of approximately 254.96 kg per day, equivalent to around 93 metric tons per year, significantly reducing its carbon footprint.

CSI also implements waste segregation practices to support recycling and minimize environmental impact.

Outcomes and Continuous Improvement

These measures improved operational efficiency and environmental awareness across the organization. CSI continues to review opportunities to further enhance energy efficiency and responsible resource management.

Conclusion

Throughout 2025, CS International Co., Ltd. demonstrated continuous improvement in responsible business practices, human rights protection, supply-chain due diligence, and environmental sustainability. CSI remains committed to aligning its operations with the RJC Code of Practices and stakeholder expectations.
